Had a relaxing stay at this nicely decorated and modern hotel. the central location was great, close to excellent tavernas and a long, white sandy beach that stretches for miles along the coast. - the staff were excellent and efficient, providing good recommendations.

Spotlessly clean room with exceptionally comfortable bed and smoke detectors for safety measures. Sensational and satisfactory breakfast with more options and stunning location. Easy enough to find, in the middle of Rethymno. Walking distance to a market and interesting independent shops across the street. What a truly memorable stay, nothing to complain about.

The age of the building and the nice decorations. location.
You provide a jug and cups for tea and coffee in the room. This is the only hotel I've ever stayed in that expects the traveller to provide the tea and coffee and this is not realistic to purchase coffee, sugar and milk enough for 2 nights. Usually you get a couple of sachets just so you may relax when exhausted. 2 and 3 star hotels provide this. No one to help you with your bags to the room. Older travellers would have difficulities.

The hotel is very well located, right at the heart of the old city. It is easily accessible by visitors going to Rethymno by sea or by bus.The rooms are lovingly and charmingly restored from an old Venetian building. The hotel staff are all very friendly, helpful and obliging. There is a genuine and sincere concern for the comfort and satisfaction of their guests. The service is personal and attentive. The breakfast is freshly prepared every morning and is sumptuous for a continental breakfast. All in all, the hotel represents excellent value for money..

amazingly friendly and helpful staff, great location in the old town and not too far away from the town beach, very authentically decorated rooms all in all it made our stay in Rethymno a real pleasure
if you plan on going to the town beach, the loooong strip of sandy beach is just 10 mins away from the hotel. the problem with that part of the beach closer to the old town is that it gets a bit crowded and that it is not as clean as the one at the end of the main street.the good thing though is that this part of the beach is just a 5 min cab ride away (the cab drivers all have a fixed €5 rate)

The hotel and room is great, we enjoy our stay. And location is good, too. We can easily access most of the sightseeing place by walking.
The entrance of hotel is hidden in the alley, which is tricky for the first time visitor. And parking space (both paid and public parking area) is little distance from the hotel, so prepared for some walking.

The staff were delightfully friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable. We had a lovely balcony that caught the sun for most of the morning.
The main street would get noisy in the early hours as the clubs shut. If you have a room at the front, this can disturb one's sleep.

We liked Eleni and Stella and the rest of the staff very much - they were friendly, helpful and professional. They let us eat breakfast when we arrived to the table 1 minute before breakfast was over. They fulfilled our request for special flowers in the room; they came to meet us at our car and helped us with our luggage, - they were spectacular! The room was delightfully romantic, with warm wood floors, stone walls, big windows, lovely drapes, and a contemporary but romantic four-poster bed with draped shear fabric. The lobby was both warm and contemporary, with a polished look that felt refined without being stuffy.
Nothing, everything was nice. Like all other hotels we stayed at in Greece, there was no chest of drawers to put clothes in (there was a large wardrobe for hanging clothes) and it appears that toilet paper is not supposed to be flushed down the toilet, but that seems to be part of the Greek adventure, not this hotel.

The hotel is located in the charming Old Town, with numerous restaurants, shops, and sights just a short walk away. the rooms are elegantly decorated with antiques and quality furnishings, while the staff is friendly and helpful, providing guests with excellent service. the breakfast is delicious and served in a lovely outdoor area under a vine-covered alley.
The hotel lacks a gym or fitness center who prioritize staying fit and active during their travels.

We were so delighted with our room, breakfast and convenience of the location. But we will never forget the wonderful front of house staff who were able to assist us in a very friendly, caring way.
